About me:
I grew up on a little Private island in the Bora Bora lagoon (South Pacific Ocean), surrounded by nature full time.
I grew up more with animals than with other kids. It is with a boat that my parents would take me to school, and come back waterskiing.
Born from a father a Polar Explorer, and a mother a Air Hostess, travel and all its open-mindedness were what I was brought up with.
At the age of 18 a friend came over to sculpt for my parents and gave me a chisel to help him out. From then on I never
stopped creating. On my island, I’ve always liked making land art, and so sculpted directly on live trees, or dead ones still enrooted.
In 2001 I started sculpting big rocks that were part of a rock protection wall. I was right away attracted by the everlasting power of it, reminding me at the same time the greatness of nature, and the ephemeral passage of mankind.
I expose my art each year in December in Papeete: Tahiti’s capital. The expo only lasts four and a half days, but so far, 85% of the pieces sell out on these days.
